David Kaemmer's Fiddle Tune of the Month
David Kaemmer's Fiddle Tune of the Month series is a subscription based CD and companion booklet designed to help students learn various skills and techniques on the fiddle with no instructor present or when additional instruction is desired. It is also great for violinists that would like to learn how to fiddle! David Kaemmer has designed the Fiddle Tune of the Month to be simple and easy to follow. Subscribers receive one CD per month containing a tune along with a twin fiddle part arranged by David, and a companion booklet containing written music/tab. Each track of the CD takes the student through the teaching points and techniques of the tune, step by step. The lesson design uses the tune as a vehicle to teach the intricacies of the fiddle style, breaking down the different techniques players need to succeed one phrase at a time. The series is a great way for fiddle players to continue developing skills and techniques while adding new tunes to their repertoire. A lot of David's teaching methods have been influenced by the Suzuki method and this series also makes excellent supplementary material for Suzuki violin students.

How it works
Once a month, subscribers will receive one studio quality recorded CD along with a companion booklet. The subscriber's account is then billed using the method they have selected. All students in the program will receive the same Fiddle Tune of the Month. Different styles will be presented each month i.e. hoedowns, jigs, waltzes, rags, seasonal tunes, etc. David will choose the selections and gear the lesson toward the advancing beginner to intermediate level of instruction. Each lesson will focus on teaching points and the techniques hidden within the tune as well as teaching the tune itself . You may choose to subscribe month to month or take advantage of the discounts for semi annual and annual subscriptions. Sign up at any time. Your subscription will start the following month after your order is received (i.e. if your order is received by the end of the month of August, you will receive your first tune in September).
